Shift Proof Emergency Services Support
You dedicate your life to helping others. But who is helping you?
We know that the welfare in the services isn’t the best. We know that police officers, ambulance and firefighters are more overworked, more stressed, and more under resourced than ever. We know shifts destroy our sleeping patterns. Our food choices. Our mental and physical health. The loss of time with the family due to exhaustion.
It’s time to change that.
Introducing ‘Shift Proof.’
The emergency services community built by those who have been there and done it. Those who know where shift workers struggle with when it comes to feeling alone, overweight, tired, under valued, and more.
A place where you can feel safe, get fit, get strong, and even build a business and leave the job if you wanted.
Who Am I?
It’s time to put yourself first.
So if you’re exhausted of being exhausted. Tired of being ignored. It’s time to invest in yourself, and be the best you can be for your colleagues. Your family, and most importantly, yourself.
Join the Shift Proof community now, or work with me 1-2-1 and get in the best shape of your life, learn business skills, and stop letting the job take everything from you.
Why should you listen to me?
My name is Jay Darkmoore, and I am an ex police officer from the UK who served nearly a decade on the frontline.
For me, I didn’t leave the job because of what was thrown at me. Instead, I left because the very organisation I was there to represent, frankly didn’t care about it’s staff.
Terrible management. Even worse decisions. All to benefit those above me, whilst frontline workers went unheard.
Whilst working shifts, I was able to control my diet and take care of my mental health. I knew the job wouldn’t take care of me, so I learned how to make myself Shift Proof.
I lost weight. Gained muscle. Ran ultra marathons. Competed in events. Wrote sixteen books, and maintained a brilliant relationship with my family.
I left not because of the demand of the job, but because it was clear that the organisation didn’t support its staff.
So I left. I created an online business using social media, which allowed me financial freedom, and the ability to live life by my own terms, appearing on some of the biggest podcasts in the world, advocating, and supporting those that help others but are treated like dirt.
