In Cold Blood - EARLY BIRD SPECIAL EDITION PRE ORDER
Early Bird Preorders are OPEN for In Cold Blood*
Going out on a limb with this one and being BALLSY.
I’m opening preorders for In Cold Blood, my new Arctic thriller, before it’s even finished.
This is extra exciting for me because I don’t plan my books. So, like you, I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen. I’m discovering Desolation, its people and what happens to them word by word.
And now you can come along for the ride.
For a limited time, early-bird preorders will get 25% off the special edition bundle, which will normally be £19.99, with FREE UK postage.
The special edition will include:
A signed copy of In Cold Blood
A special edition bookmark
A map of Desolation
PLUS some other cool bits I’ll reveal closer to release.
The book is currently sitting at around 58,000 words and is due for release in mid-October.
So, what is In Cold Blood about?
The premise is simple -
In the Upper Noatak region of Alaska sits the town of Desolation. Population: 162. Every winter, Desolation experiences 30 days of polar night. No sunlight. Sub-zero temperatures. Cut off from the outside world. The town has to ration its resources and survive the cold, the wildlife and the perpetual darkness.
But then the power goes out. Communication disappears. No explanation.
Time stops existing, and the night stretches out in perpetuity.
No sunlight. No law. No consequences.
And that raises the question at the heart of the book:
What happens when you strip consequence away from desperate people?
Do 162 people work together and maintain some kind of social order? Or do hunger, fear, violence and desperation slowly tear everything apart? How far would you go to survive if you knew nobody was coming to hwlp you?
For this early promotional period, the special edition is available at a reduced price.
Once the early-bird window closes, it goes up to the full £19.99.
Daylight is coming.
But what will be left of you when dawn finally breaks?
All who pre order will be updated when the book is finished, assembled, and shipped.
I am aiming for October 17th.
